Kimberly Lein-Mathisen, Microsoft
Kimberly Lein-Mathisen is a CEO and board member who loves the challenge of lifting an organization to new heights – helping a company find new sources of energy, growth, and momentum. Today the GM of Microsoft Norway, she has 20+ years of experience in Branded Consumer Goods, Pharmaceuticals, Media, and Technology leading across geographies in North America, Europe and Asia. Her roles have included CEO of Lilleborg (Orkla Home & Personal Care), Global VP & Alliance Leader, Eli Lilly, General Manager, Germany and Norway, Eli Lilly, Co-Founder Appear Networks, and Production Leader, Procter & Gamble.
Kimberly is a passionate, insightful leader and voice for how technology and diversity can lift Norway and how the cloud is a Cloud for the Global Good. She has extensive board experience including Abelia, NHST (parent of Dagens Næringsliv), Meda AB, Borregaard, and Kappa Bioscience. Kimberly has a BS in engineering from the U. of Illinois, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is an American citizen with a long-time base in Norway which she shares with her Norwegian husband and 4 children.
